Vacancy Announcement for the position of Field Staff/Basic Cricket Coach Duty Station: Kathmandu, with frequent field visits Duration: till Oct 2028 (with possibility of extension; subject to annual renewal of the contract based on performance evaluation) Reports to: Project Lead Expected Start Date: As soon as possible Salary and Benefits Monthly salary: To be discussed Travel and field allowance: As per organizational policy Leave and benefits: As per organizational rules Key Responsibilities The Project Field Staff will support the implementation of inclusive cricket activities, particularly for visually impaired children and youth. Key responsibilities include: Conduct inclusive cricket coaching sessions for visually impaired participants Organize regular training sessions, practice matches, and tournaments at local and regional levels Support the development of individualized coaching plans based on players’ abilities and vision categories Identify and nurture potential players for competitions Coordinate trainings, events, and competitions Ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all participants Maintain attendance, progress, and performance records of players Provide mentorship, guidance, and psychosocial support to participants Coordinate with schools, parents, and local stakeholders to promote participation Support awareness campaigns, public events, and sports advocacy initiatives Submit periodic reports and recommendations to Project Lead.
