Job Description The Manager of HR and Admin in a construction company is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all human resources and administrative functions to support the construction projects and the overall operation of the company. Human Resource Management: Should plan and organize the recruitment and staffing function of the Group company. Should formulate and implement policies and manuals relating to admin function and HR function. Should handle disciplinary actions and terminations of employees when necessary, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Should facilitate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to construction industry needs. Should be dynamic and ability of problem solving, Should have interdepartmental coordination skill. Administrative Management: Should plan and organize the day-to-day operations and other admin function of the Group company effectively. Should finalize and implement module related to Fixed Assets management system and take necessary steps to safeguard the assets of the Group company, Recovery & Legal: Should analyze and manage financial data related to recovery activities and plan the recovery actions accordingly. Should Initiate for debt recovery and legal actions, if necessary. Should have capability to negotiate with external and third parties, Should be able to design, develop and implement template related to the overall function of the group company, Should have depth knowledge of legal compliances and country law. Should be able to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and statutory requirements. Procurement Head

Job Description A Procurement Head plays a critical role in managing the acquisition of goods, services, and materials necessary for construction and mining projects in BNSPL. The primary responsibility of procurement manager is to ensure that the BNSPL obtains high-quality materials and services at competitive prices while adhering to budgetary constraints and project timelines. Below is a detailed job description for a Procurement Head: Key Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement Planning: Procurement Head should develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. He should be able to collaborate with site In charges / mining In charges / Yard In charges / Admin officer and other stakeholders (Engineers) to determine the materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects, mining sites, office and Yards / Stores. He should be able to analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Supplier Relationship Management: Procurement Head should be able to Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct vendor listing, negotiate terms, and establish long-term partnerships with the suppliers. He should also be able to monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies. He should further develop and maintain a supplier database for easy and informed decision making by the management. Contract Management: Procurement Head should be responsible for drafting, review, finalize the contract in coordination with Purchase Committee and administer contracts and purchase orders. They should ensure contract compliance and resolve contractual disputes if any. Materials and Inventory Management: Procurement Head should be able to manage inventory levels to optimize cash flow and ensure materials are available when needed. They should be able to coordinate with project/mining/mechanical teams to forecast material requirements and lead times. It shall be the primary responsibility of the project manager to ensure the timely delivery of materials to construction sites. Quality Assurance: Procurement Head should establish and enforce quality standards / inspection criteria for materials and services received from the parties and coordinate with suppliers for resolution or replacement if any discrepancies. Documentation and Reporting: Procurement Head should maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier communications and generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and savings for management review. Tax Officer

Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. Tax Compliance & Filing Prepare and submit VAT returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax filings as per Inland Revenue Department (IRD) requirements. Ensure timely deposit of taxes and statutory payments. Monitor and reconcile VAT, TDS, and tax liabilities on a regular basis. 2. Record Keeping & Documentation Maintain accurate tax records, invoices, and supporting documents. Ensure proper accounting of VAT credit, TDS credit, and tax provisions. Prepare schedules and reconciliations for audit and reporting purposes. The Tax Officer is responsible for managing all tax-related functions of the company, ensuring full compliance with Nepalese tax laws, including VAT, TDS, and Income Tax. The role involves handling tax filings, maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and advising management on tax planning to minimize liabilities while ensuring regulatory compliance 3. Tax Planning & Advisory Assist management in tax planning and optimization strategies to reduce liabilities within legal frameworks. Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with changing tax laws. 4. Audit & Liaison Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and IRD officials during audits and assessments. Respond to tax notices, queries, and assessments from authorities. 5. Financial Reporting Support Prepare tax-related reports for management (monthly/quarterly). Support finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 6. Industry-Specific Responsibilities Handle taxation related to contract works, subcontractor payments, and retention amounts. Monitor tax compliance on project-based transactions (multiple sites). Ensure proper deduction and deposit of TDS on vendor/contractor payments. Track tax implications on mobilization advances, running bills, and project expenses.

Project Manager — Bridges & Tunnel Project

Job Description The Project Manager is accountable for full project delivery-safety, quality, schedule, cost and stakeholder satisfaction. The role requires technical leadership for complex bridge and tunnel works, proactive planning and resource management, and direct engagement with the client (Nepal Army), subcontractors and authorities. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction to deliver the project safely, on schedule, within budget and to contract quality standards. Prepare, maintain and drive the integrated Project Execution Plan, detailed schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project), resource loading and recovery plans. Lead technical execution for bridges, tunnels, cut-and-cover, slope protection and river training works; review and approve construction methods, temporary works and sequencing. Manage project commercial aspects: cost control, forecasting, cashflow, variations, claims and approvals. Supervise and coordinate design, QA/QC, site engineering and construction teams; manage subcontractors and consultant performance. Ensure compliance with contracts (including FIDIC where applicable), client requirements, statutory regulations and environmental/social safeguard measures. Implement and enforce robust HSE systems, lead safety culture, incident prevention and emergency response planning. Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; maintain risk and change registers; drive mitigation and recovery actions. Coordinate procurement, logistics and mobilization for critical long-lead items and plant. Prepare and present regular progress, technical and commercial reports to senior management and the client, lead client liaison and stakeholder engagement. Ensure accurate documentation control: as-built drawings, construction records, testing reports and final handover dossiers.
