Vacancy Announcement for the position of Field Staff/Basic Cricket Coach Duty Station: Kathmandu, with frequent field visits Duration: till Oct 2028 (with possibility of extension; subject to annual renewal of the contract based on performance evaluation) Reports to: Project Lead Expected Start Date: As soon as possible Salary and Benefits Monthly salary: To be discussed Travel and field allowance: As per organizational policy Leave and benefits: As per organizational rules Key Responsibilities The Project Field Staff will support the implementation of inclusive cricket activities, particularly for visually impaired children and youth. Key responsibilities include: Conduct inclusive cricket coaching sessions for visually impaired participants Organize regular training sessions, practice matches, and tournaments at local and regional levels Support the development of individualized coaching plans based on players’ abilities and vision categories Identify and nurture potential players for competitions Coordinate trainings, events, and competitions Ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all participants Maintain attendance, progress, and performance records of players Provide mentorship, guidance, and psychosocial support to participants Coordinate with schools, parents, and local stakeholders to promote participation Support awareness campaigns, public events, and sports advocacy initiatives Submit periodic reports and recommendations to Project Lead. Contribute to the visibility and growth of the organization Carry out any other duties assigned by the organization Required Qualifications and Skills Minimum +2 completed Good written and verbal communication skills in Nepali and English Basic knowledge and skills in cricket Interest in disability inclusion and sports development Ability to work in field settings and diverse communities Basic documentation and reporting skills Strong interpersonal and coordination abilities Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage) Experience working with persons with disabilities, especially visually impaired individuals Experience in sports coaching or sports programs Background in community mobilization or youth engagement Application Procedure Interested candidates are requested to submit: Updated CV Cover Letter with the subject line _Application for the position of Field Officer.
