Duration: 3 Months (Contract) Location: Kathmandu Valley (Field Work + Work From Home) Company: Aujar Pvt. Ltd. (AujarMart) About Us Aujar Pvt. Ltd. is a growing hardware and tools business based in Kathmandu, operating under the brand AujarMart. The company is focused on building a strong supplier network and efficient procurement system to deliver competitively priced products across key categories such as hand tools and power tools. Aujar is in an early growth phase, prioritizing vendor relationships and supply chain development to support its expanding retail and digital presence. Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Relationship Officer to build and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers across Kathmandu Valley. The primary goal of this role is to onboard reliable suppliers, negotiate competitive rates, and gather critical procurement information to support Aujar’s growing hardware business. Key Responsibilities Visit and engage with hardware vendors, wholesalers, and suppliers across the city Build and maintain strong supplier relationships on behalf of Aujar Collect and document: Product catalogs and rate sheets Minimum order quantities (MOQs) Bulk pricing tiers and discounts Credit terms (if available) Negotiate pricing and terms to secure favorable deals Identify new supplier opportunities and alternatives Maintain organized records of all supplier interactions and data Provide regular updates and reports on progress, challenges, and opportunities Expected Outcomes (Success Metrics) Number of vendors onboarded and documented Quality and competitiveness of pricing secured Completeness of supplier database (rates, MOQ, contacts, categories) Ability to identify reliable long-term supplier partners Deliverables Develop a structured database of at least 60–80 vendors and suppliers across key product categories Collect and document a minimum of 30–40 verified rate sheets, including pricing, MOQs, and bulk purchase terms Identify and shortlist 10–15 high-potential suppliers based on pricing competitiveness, product range, and reliability Requirements Strong communication and negotiation skills Comfortable with field visits and in-person meetings Basic understanding of hardware/tools market (preferred, not mandatory) Organized and detail-oriented (must track data properly) Self-driven and able to work independently Must have own laptop/pc for work Compensation Compensation will be disbursed in installments, linked to satisfactory progress and completion of agreed deliverables, with the final installment released upon submission and acceptance of all deliverables.
